Sea, 
This is your name. 
Oh comrade ocean, 
Don't waste time 
Or water 
Getting so upset 
Help us instead. 
We are meager fishermen, 
Men from the shore 
Who are hungry and cold 
And you're our foe.
Don't beat so hard, 
Don't shout so loud, 
Open your green coffers, 
Place gifts of silver in our hands.

In the spirit of the Olympics

Are you having a writer's block? Or any block?

In the spirit of the Olympics and what it represents, I wrote myself a mantra to overcome a block that kept me staring at a word in a line in a page in a book I am trying to finish.

Gloomy! 😔
Not an optimistic mantra to start the day with!!

Nor to end the day ..
Sure as the day rolls it's sleeves it would show more smiles on the way. 
Need not be gloomy, it's the weather and missing love ones. Or may be just a passing cloud, soon would evaporate. And soon a cool breeze would elevate our spirits.. few more days of patience and faith. 

Yes dear friend, faith is our hidden power generator. Nothing but faith keeps one going. 

And..remember that dream? !keep it alive.. 
Keep dreaming, dreams are for free..they keep us walking..keep us smiling..keep us being good to ourselves and to others. Dreams renew our sense of humanness and keep us alive. In dreams we are born anew, and keep giving birth to ourselves over and again. 💟🌿

Sports for Women in Saudi Arabia

Sports for women in Saudi Arabia. 

A New title is been written in an old struggling page..

An official green light is given to sports for Saudi women. 

Two events are writing this new title: 

. 

One, the official appointment of princess Reema bint Bandar bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, a Saudi Arabian entrepreneur and philanthropist,to a high government post to be in charge of sports ,as deputy general for sports, women's section. 3 August, 2016. 

News that caught the attention of international media, as mentioned in Time,

" what is already shaping to be a monumental summer for Arab women in sports, Princess Reema bint Bandar Al-Saud has been officially appointed as the Vice President for Women’s Affairs of the General Sports Authority in Saudi Arabia." 

The second event is the participation of four Saudi women in the Olympics,2016. 

The two events are welcomed and cheered widely  in Saudi Arabia. 

This is only the opening of a new door on  more new optimistic page titles to be written in the history book of contemporary Saudi Arabia.
