out of silence

Tow years have passed since my last posting. Who cares!
I do. for a writer to loose his/her power to express self,mind, and soul in written words means loosing the will to live. Or perhaps loosing the drive that keeps him on going forward. when a writer stops writing it is like hibernating.

 well, sometimes it is necessary for a new beginning and a fresh start.

 After all, isn't that what life is all about....?

The blessed month

The Holy month is here. The month of Ramadan. It is the second day, no feeling of thirst or hunger. The mind puts itself on fasting mode and acts accordingly. By braking-fast time(Maghreb) it activates the eating mode.
Amazing how the system works itself automatically on Ramadan.
For me, it is a good time to go off the social media for a while. Generally, it is the time to free body and mind from any sort of addictive, negative habits; a time to detoxify and recharge spiritually.
Children too feel the joy and spirits of Ramadan.
It is a blessing to be alive and witness the blessings of God in this Holy month.

When things get mixed up..

Working with my ipad and laptop to manage mailing, passwords, and my two blogs is a real headache for someone who hate machines..

Haven't visited my yawatan blog for the last three years. It's my first blogging experience.
Happy today to reactivate it .
Filtered through the titles and dates..sure brought alive memories of points of times, places and people .

There's so much to write about and stories to tell .
Seems I will be alternating between Shahid_yawatan my Arabic blog, and Yawatan my English one.
Wish myself luck...plenty of it..
